Interest earned by you from fixed deposit accounts is also exempted in the following situations:-
- a) Period exceeding 12 months or more – any amount of interest
- b) Period not exceeding 12 months – interest on fixed deposit up to a maximum of RM100k.
House Purchase
Any foreigner may purchase any number of residential property in Malaysia, subject to the minimum rates established for foreigners by the different states. They start from MYR500,000 per unit for most states, from 1st January 2010. Land is a state matter and it is important to check state laws before making any commitment, as the minimum purchase price is not standardized between states.

How to transport a car from Dubai to Doha?
There are three different mode of transporting services; you may choose one of these as per your convenient and budget
- Airfreight the Car.
- Car shipping by Sea Freight
- Car Transport by Land
Air Freight
Car by Airlifting is one of the most expansive mode car shipping from UAE to Qatar! This you may chose only if you run short of time! Otherwise you may plan by Sea freight or Land transport. When you airlift a car from UAE to Qatar, the price may vary based on many factors such as , Make , Model , Size and weight. The smaller the car lower the cost.
Sear Freight a Car
There are two ways you can ship the car, one is by a dedicated container and the other one is by ro-ro (Roll on Roll off) service.
- A dedicated container will have only one car in it and the car shall be lashed with lashing equipment which will protect the car at any circumstances.
- Ro-ro service is not frequent as container service, only once a week ro-ro vessels are scheduled for voyage to Qatar from Dubai… However surprisingly the shipping cost by ro-ro is not cheaper compare to the containerized car shipping.
Car Transport to Qatar by Land
Car transport by land has two different options, again you may choose the best one as per your requirement, urgency and budget
- Multiple car carrier, which is a trailer which can carry up to 8 cars on it, normally the carrier makes its trip to Qatar twice a week. The transit time may go up to 5 working days.

You need to obtain the Export certificate from RTA, in order to get this certificate your car must not have any claim like, traffic violations, bank loans or accident claims.
